Students and staff at RACC can experience a Berks Café complete with self-service and easy card payments. The Avanti Market menu includes breakfast items, as well as healthy choices like deli sandwiches and salads, along with daily and weekly specials. Additionally, there are snacks and sweet treats for anyone who needs a quick pick-me-up before class. Gluten-free products are also available.

The Avanti Market hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Avanti Market is self-service and payment will be made via a RACC ID card or credit/debit card.

How do I use the Avanti Market? It's pretty simple, here are the steps

  • Select whatever item you wish to purchase from the market
  • Take your product to the checkout kiosk
  • Pay for your product using several convenient option
    • Use your Student ID card
    • Use MasterCard, Visa, or American Express Debit/Credit card

How do I add value to my Student ID Card?

Visit our loading station. This will be a separate kiosk off to the side of the market. Hold your student ID/Avanti Market card in front of the reader. Press Add with Cash. Now insert US Currency into the dollar bill acceptor and the amount will be added to your card. OR Press Add with Debit/Credit. Select the amount that you want to add and then swipe your card.

I have a brand new Student ID Card. How do I activate it?

Easy, hold the barcode on it in front of the reader. You will then be prompted to enter your first name (press Next), your last name (press Next again), and then your email address (You now press Done and guess what, you're done!).

Why do you need my email address?

Entering your email address is optional. It does make it easier for us to cancel a lost card and transfer your balance to a new one. It may also be used to inform you of special offers at the Avanti Market.

Can I just pay for an item with cash?

No, you must use your Student ID or a debit/credit card.

Can I make a request?
