Peer Mentoring Program
In 2018, Reading Area Community College implemented a Peer Mentoring Program in which experienced students were matched with newer college students who were interested in challenging themselves by taking strong course loads, and who desired help in facing the many challenges of the first year of college.
From the onset, our Peer Mentoring Program has provided numerous opportunities for students to enhance their academic and personal growth, and has since grown to include scholarship opportunities to both mentors and mentees alike.
Some of the benefits of the Peer Mentoring Program include scholarship opportunities, campus and community connections, leadership skills, and building strategies for success!
If you are interested in becoming a peer mentor or would like to have a mentor this semester, please submit your application.
