Help RACC students start here. . .and go anywhere
At Reading Area Community College, we believe financial barriers should never stand in the way of ambition. RACC exists to transform lives through accessible, high-quality education—and the Foundation for Reading Area Community College makes that promise real by helping students afford college, stay on track, and succeed.
Because of the generosity and vision of our donors, nearly every student who applies for a Foundation scholarship receives support. In fact, over 99% of scholarship applicants are awarded funding, bringing students one step closer to graduation and a brighter future.
In the 2024–2025 academic year, the Foundation proudly awarded 1,787 scholarships to 1,489 students, providing $1.89 million in direct financial support.
Beyond scholarships, the Foundation also delivered:
- More than $100,000 in emergency funding for students facing unexpected hardships
- Over $40,000 in support for the Raven’s Food Pantry, helping students experiencing food insecurity
Even with RACC’s affordable tuition, many of our students face exceptional financial need. That’s why the Foundation exists—to ensure that students who are committed to graduating have the resources they need to do so.
Your future is worth investing in. Students are strongly encouraged to complete the simple scholarship application and take the next step toward achieving their goals.
