Another opportunity available for eligible RACC students is cross registration, which is a program that allows you to take classes at neighboring Berks County colleges and universities at the RACC tuition rate.
There are numerous benefits to cross registration, such as exploring other classes and subjects that RACC doesn't offer, trying out a school you are considering for transfer, or taking a 300 or 400 level course in your future bachelor's degree program. All of this at RACC's affordable tuition!
Berks County schools participating in the program include Albright, Alvernia, Kutztown and Penn State Berks.
Students interested in cross registration must meet specific criteria in order to be eligible for cross registration. Eligibility requirements include full-time enrollment (12 credits) at RACC and have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average in college-level coursework. Additionally, students who drop a class at RACC that causes them to fall below full-time status, will be removed from the class at the other institution.
