American Public University
Students with an A.A. or A.S. degree are granted junior status at APU which will accept the associate degree credit earned as a block even if courses were taken at other institutions.
Eligible APU programs include General Studies, Intelligence Studies, Management, Retail Management, Security Management, Transportation and Logistics Management.
Bellevue University
Students will be granted full recognition of their A.A., A.S. or A.A.S. degree by Bellevue University toward the B.A., B.F.A., or B.S. degrees at Bellevue. All general education requirements will be considered completed but students must complete the "Kirkpatrick Signature Series" requirement.
Bellevue will also accept an additional 30 credits beyond the RACC associate degree and requires that students complete only 30 credit-hours in residence at Bellevue.
Kaplan University
RACC students must be graduates of an associate degree program or submit a letter from the registrar indicating that the student is in good standing and what the degree completion date is anticipated to be.
Degree completers at RACC are guaranteed a block transfer of credits equivalent to 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours. Students may transfer in additional credit but must complete at least 25% of required credits of the bachelor degree at Kaplan.
RACC alumni and employees receive a 10% tuition discount from Kaplan and extended access to all online certificates and undergraduate/graduate programs as offered.
Southern New Hampshire University
Reading Area Community College participates in a statewide transfer agreement with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) for community college graduates' to complete their bachelor’s degrees completely online.
Associate degree graduates benefits:
- Transfer up to 90 credits
- 10% reduction of SNHU tuition
- Waived application fee
Under this agreement, SNHU offers PA Community College employees and their immediate family members 10% reduction of SNHU tuition.
Strayer University
RACC graduates with the A.A., A.S., A.A.S. or A.G.S. degrees and a 2.0 GPA are guaranteed admission to Strayer University.
Strayer will also accept up to 86 credits toward one of their degrees and will waive its application fee for RACC students.
Strayer will accept any Life Experience/Prior Learning Activity credit awarded by RACC as part of their associate degree.
