Summary: The KEYS Work Study provides office support to the students, staff and administration of the Keystone Education Yields Success (KEYS) Program. The KEYS program provides intensive student facilitation services to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients while attending Reading Area Community College. The desire and ability to be kind, friendly, helpful and patient with all students is of utmost importance. We are seeking students who have strong initiative, a desire to learn and grow in the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Front Desk Greeter-greet students with a smile as they enter KEYS main office and assist them with questions, referrals to on campus resources, completing attendance sheets, learning how to use the programs that are commonly used for RACC and KEYS purposes, such as Canvas, Self-Service, COMPASS and CareerLink website. 2. Complete daily checklist of tasks 3. Scheduling appointments including calling students to schedule appointments with their student facilitator, make appointment reminder calls, reschedule appointments when there is a cancellation or no-shows. 4. Distribute gift cards to KEYS students, ensuring proper procedures are followed with integrity 5. Filing documents into student binders, creating new binders when new KEYS students start program, closing out files for students who are terminated, reviewing student records for signatures and other missing information and contact student to remedy. 6. Assist with KEYS program attendance sheets when necessary, including checking for accuracy, calculating hours, communicating with students who may be out of compliance and case noting into various systems 7. Assistance with creating an informative, helpful, warm and inviting space for the KEYS students including updates to bulletin boards on a regular basis, organizing office, assistance with event planning and workshops. 8. Other general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, coping, faxing, mailing 9. Other duties as assigned by full-time program staff Skills Required: · Strong Customer Service skills including excellent telephone etiquette · Computer skills including, Canvas, Self-Service and Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. · Math ability to add time included minutes to decimal conversion · Must have excellent written, verbal and communication skills. · Range of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
