Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and proofread materials using word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Assist in maintaining files for the Academic Affairs office.
- Assist with planning and implementation of Math Championship event and Poet Laureate event.
- Assist with planning and implementation of Academic Partnership meetings and events.
- Assist with preparation of student evaluation packets, gathering and compilation of information, tabulation, printing, and distribution of results.
- Enter, edit and retrieve data for faculty student evaluations using scanning software.
- Assist with preparation of dual enrollment – prepare packets for distribution to high schools.
- Assist with maintaining and filing of dual enrollment faculty credentials and paperwork.
- Enter, edit and retrieve dual enrollment course section data using the administrative software system.
- Assist with maintaining updated contact lists of dual enrollment faculty, high school counselors, principals and superintendents.
- Provide office coverage in the Academic Affairs Office as necessary.
- Perform other related secretarial/administrative duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer some college level work.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills:
Requires basic mathematical skills.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to read and interpret data in order to assist with reports.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual: must be highly proficient with spreadsheet software, word processing software, and standard office equipment; prefer a working knowledge of Access and Outlook; must be able to learn how to use scanning software, scanning hardware, and administrative software system.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
High degree of concentration required.
Requires moderate supervision and ability to be self-directed.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Interact and communicate diplomatically with the Sr. Vice President/Provost, Dean of Instruction, Director of Academic Partnerships, Assistant Deans of divisions, full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, staff, key personnel in other areas/departments, students and members of the general public.
Excellent organizational skills and proofreading skills.
