About Blended Learning
Basic Life Support (BLS) and other AHA courses are available in two different training methods – blended learning (online & classroom) and classroom training. All course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA course completion card.
Step 1: Complete the online course
- Complete the online portion of the course and receive a certificate. To purchase the online segment, go to www.elearning.heart.org
Step 2: Contact the American Heart Association Aligned Training Center at RACC to schedule hand-on skills training. To schedule training call 610-607-6220 or email shouck@racc.edu After receiving the certificate, schedule and complete the hands-on skills training and evaluation session conducted by an American Heart Association aligned instructor at RACC.
- Purchasing the activation code from the AHA does not enroll you into a skills session. Students must register for the online and hands on skills separately.
- Students must present their certificate of completion from the online segment to be eligible to complete the skills evaluation.
Step 3: A card is issued after successfully completing the online course and skills testing.
