Working Hours:
Specific work hours to be agreed upon by the supervisor and employee prior to the onset of employment.
Summary:
Assist Online Learning Department in Learning Management System (LMS) -related needs for the department. The employee will closely monitor the LMS Helpdesk, and schedule, track and monitor faculty training. The employee may also assist in level system administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the LMS Helpdesk.
- Schedule, track, and monitor LMS faculty training.
- Assist with system administrative tasks, such as creating accounts and courses within the LMS.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate’s Degree
Preferred
Some experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Willing to learn technology.
- Self-starter and well organized.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Internet skills. Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague and Learning Management System software a plus.
Communication Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or
two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no
variables.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
